In 1988, Szymon, a Polish KGB intelligence officer is on assignment in Helsinki, eavesdropping on the bugged adjoining hotel suite to his own. A Soviet envoy is seeing a prostitute and the top brass wants some dirt on him. But Szymon has been kitted out with a broken Japanese reel-to-reel tape recorder and the hidden camera video feed is glitching.
