Coming winter, a mysterious group of strangers appear bloodthirsty vampires ready for taking advantage of pitch darkness to quench their thirst for blood of the residents. Barrow's sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his wife Stella (Melissa George) and constantly reducing number of survivors must do anything and everything to stop this mayhem.
