A one-location human suspense drama where attendees at a woman's 49th-day memorial service engage in a power struggle over the truth behind her death. Madoka Takahashi gathers people who were close to her deceased best friend, Yuko Kawai, at the share house where Yuko lived for a memorial gathering on the forty-ninth day after her suicide. One by one, eccentric members arrive at the share house: Yuko's work colleagues Akiko Matsui and Kaori Nioka; her roommates Sunny and Yuri; and her ex-boyfriend Yasushi Yokoyama. The gathering proceeds solemnly, but Madoka has a hidden purpose. Alongside reminiscing about Yuko, she steers the conversation toward why Yuko was driven to suicide. Furthermore, Pancho, the pizza delivery guy, and Akiko's ex-boyfriend, Hiroto Shinozuka, get drawn into the gathering, gradually revealing surprising connections and facts.
