Mark and Eliza, two orphans, go to live in their grandmother's castle, Marquesa Elena Baraldi Contini after the death of both parents. The Marquise hides a great secret linked to her childhood and an enchanted Garden. During the night the children dream of their parents, but Marco personalizes the pain by having nightmares about a black magician who instigates him to feel pain otherwise he will forget his mother and father. Eliza on the other hand is sad but the new school and the new friends will help her to forget the past and to find new strength to uncover the secret of the Enchanted Garden. Mark for his part, will remain skeptical even when Eliza, thanks to talented trumpeter Leo and beautiful harpist Sara, manages to call the fairies to ask them to see their parents again. When they appear, Mark tries to touch them, but the Fairy Queen blocks him explaining that the border between the world of the living and that of the spirits is too thin to be touched by human hands, Eliza apologizes and begs her to help them, the Fairy Queen is moved by the pain of the children and calls the Time Wizard. The next day, children return to the woods to meet him, but in his place the Fairy of Good Memories appears, she collects their tears and puts them in the hourglass of time to call Chronos the wizard of time, but first, blowing on the ears of the boy, manages to defeat the bad memories of the black magician that afflicts Mark. The time wizard arrives, Mark asks him to go back in time to warn his parents not to get into the car that day, the Time Wizard explains that this is not possible, so Mark asks him to take him to the spirit world so he can help them. Eliza cries, but Mark is determined! Time Wizard accepts Mark's proposal, but makes a pact with him, if he really wants to pass from the world of the living to that of the spirits, he will first have to meet the magicians of the four elements: the magician of fire, water, earth and air. all of them will teach a precious lesson to the children. But Mark is still convinced that he wants to make his journey to the world of the dead. Meanwhile, in School, where their grandmother enrolled them, children's lives intersect with that of their schoolmates, and so friendship, love, jealousy and complicity are fulfilled, but the time of Four Moons promised by Time Wizard passes, and soon Mark will have to join his parents in the afterlife. On the last day, before his departure, during the final show at school, in which Sara and Leo reveal their feelings and everyone's destinies are fulfilled, Mark will encounter the one thing he can't give up ...
