Black Women in Medicine is the first documentary to focus on unsung Black Women Doctors as they share their journeys from inequality to excellence. Changing the Face of Medicine honors Black women doctors around the country who work diligently in all facets of medicine. As we follow these women's stories, we journey through America's social and political evolution in women's rights, cultural diversification of professions, and gender. These narratives create a story of incentive, excellence and perseverance that engage, inspire and motivate.
