The story of a Norwegian guy travelling to Japan to escape his uninteresting life, as a gaijin (foreigner). When he arrives in Japan he starts to get sick. He gets worse, but then gets better when he arrives at his favorite location. But when he leaves that place he gets sick again, and it only goes downhill. He ends up getting sicker both physically and mentally. In the end he feels like he never left Tokyo, like he almost imagined everything. He takes the easy way out, to end his sickness. Did he imagine the sickness as well? Was he ever sick?
