"A TASTE OF LIFE" through seven different people, from various places and lives, who join their forces to talk openly about their health adventure, the secrets for a strong fight but also about the importance of prevention. The movie focuses on family, human relationships, psychology, love, everyday life, reintegration into society and their workplace. Harsh truths are eventually being revealed to the viewers, as we watch pivotal moments in their lives. Unexpected answers are being given to the most unique questions. A documentary with a message of prevention, against cancer's stigma. As of tomorrow our life will have a different taste... A Taste of Life The following story is a journey around brave experiences of people who invited us into the most precious chapters of their lives. The scent of Love, bravery, and triumph carried by the stories of the ¨Taste of Life¨ is a guide for others to overcome difficult times, always guided by the will of recovery. By uncovering these experiences, one quickly realizes the extent to which recovery is rarely a matter of chance, but rather a matter of a life decision empowered by the expert support and the Love of those around us. When overcoming difficult times, the brave actors of this documentary have chosen the resilience of going for one more run every morning, for spreading family moments of Joy even during the hours of receiving the treatment, and of taking their boat for one more ride. By doing so, they have shown us the beauty and strength of a hope, one that can only be understood by those who touched the moment of separation. Every chapter beholds the colors of a different story, and of different people, all illustrated by paintings drawn by young artists who discovered scenes from every story. Despite their differences and diversity, these stories also remind us how similar we all are during times of anxiety and hope, times of denial and actions, and times of sadness and joy. Most of all, we are constantly reminded within the following pages how difficult journeys can also lead to the most beautiful destinations. When we visited the actors of the ¨Taste of Life¨ journey, we hoped to have a glimpse about remedy, recovery, and survival. Little did we expect to discover a feeling of optimism for having had the privilege living such a recovery experience. Little did we expect to discover the beauty of a gratitude toward a life that others might call unfair, and what a privilege it has been to discover the beauty of such gratitude. When we visited the actors of the ¨Taste of Life¨ journey, we hoped to fill ourselves with just some stories, little did we expect to end up filling ourselves with a full ¨Taste of Life¨.
