Chandaal is a bollywood action movie depicting that when someone fights for the truth, he has to fight not only again the society but also against the system. Indrajeet (Mithun Chakraborthy), an honesy policeman commences a fight against the thugs of the society. Him being one the very few who puts up a fight against the diabolic thugs, he has to suffer consequences under which, he loses his family. the truth is supported by very few, he has to face consequences by death of his family. He is falsely framed in their murder cases, and is imprisoned. After being bailed out from jail by his lady love, who is a reporter, he embarks upon the mission of taking down the real culprits.
