LOGLINE A Local Nigerian girl and a well-bred Caucasian American works together to fuse their different culture for the sake of love SYNOPSIS Abosede , a Nigerian girl who visits her American boyfriend Dennis ,whom she met online for first time, Although she is very amazed at his living condition, which she considers high profiled, she is a bit set in her ways and decides to introduce Dennis to her culture, including making her favorite meal of Amala and Ewedu a staple in their home Dennis is an older American who is fascinated with everything Abosede does, although he struggles to understand her and her culture, which he is having a hard time dealing with On a boys night out, a drunken Ken, one of Dennis Best friends come to the house with no knowledge of Abosede's presence, Abosede thinking he was a burglar, uses a baseball bat to hit him over the head and knock him out temporarily, fortunately he was not injured and this episode leads to her dislike of Ken After staying together for a few months, Dennis realizes he was in love with Abosede and decides to marry her, he proposes and she accepts. An excited Abosede decides she wants to have the wedding of the century, trying to make the event entirely all about herself, from hiring a Nigerian wedding planner to insisting on complete Nigerian meals, this leads to multiple arguments, Dennis tries to fix the situation by hiring an American wedding planner but meets with complete resistance from the stubborn Abosede Unbeknown to Dennis, a business colleague Dora from a company he was merging with has her designs on him, although he was warned by both his best friends Henry and Ken, he never took it seriously as he only sees her as a colleague until she finds out of his engagement and decides to visit Abosede with the intent of bullying her into leaving Dennis Dora's early morning visit to Abosede ends up with her getting locked up in one of the guest rooms for an entire day, this made Dora miss the merger meeting which didn't matter as she had already signed all the needed documents, so the other executives were able to complete the company merger peacefully. Dora was only released after Dennis gets home from work Finally Abosede and Dennis come to a compromise with plans to learn and understand each other better and to focus more on their love for each other, they get married in a simple court wedding with plans to have a bigger event at a much later date
