Satya Murthy (Prithvi) is a college lecturer who is murdered by two goons who have a political back up. Five students happen to witness the murder, followed by Jaya Chandra (Naga Babu) taking charge of the case. Aruna (Lakshana), a fellow lecturer, also joins in the fight for justice. But soon officer Chandra teams up with the goons and tries to kidnap a student. Why an honest cop like him behaves like that forms the crux of the story.
