During World War I, forced down behind British lines by engine trouble, the Red Baron camouflages his plane, switches uniforms with a dead soldier, and, posing as a Belgian, makes his way to a medical hospital. He finds the hospital staffed by a group of nurses devoted to raising the patients' morale by joining them in a variety of sexual activities. One of the nurses is Fanny Hill. Leaving the officers to their pleasures, the Baron plots to free a German prisoner of war, who is to drop an engine part for the Baron's plane at the hospital the next morning. The prisoner makes his escape during a wild can-can party given by the nurses. The Baron now has nothing to do but wait, and he joins in the festivities. Fanny's boyfriend, a young pilot, is jealous of the Baron. He has been discharged from the hospital, and he sets out to prove the Belgian an impostor.
