After retirement, ex-hit-man Frank (Johnny Messner) seeks a normal life. Frank and his war buddies Dawson (Edwin Modlin II) & others were on their support mission to US army (who was extracting a high security enemy target from enemy territory In Northern Iraq), when their positions are compromised (Dawson is shot dead). The asset himself was a terrorist but he has made a deal with the intelligence services to provide information in exchange for immunity for him and his family. The terrorist organization that the asset is part of, would do anything to prevent this. The terrorist organization attacks the extraction team in full force. Frank decides to shoot the asset & his family in order to bring stability to the situation. He wanted to terrorists to stop attacking the extraction team and he figured that the quickest way would be to eliminate the target and his family. 10 years later, Frank is in New Mexico with his stepdaughter Shannon (Kai Scarlett Williams) & her mother Cass (Nikki Leigh). He fixes motors for a living but is in touch with his temp employer Ocha (Danny Trejo) & sidekicks Lazarus (Robert LaSardo) & Nelson 'Nels' Salvatore (Chuck Liddell). Pedro (Victor Boneva) is Frank's employee and he treats Pedro well. Ocha wants Frank back on his payroll, but Frank refuses. Frank has just built a car for Ocha's daughter Nikki (Sofia Esmaili) as her birthday present and Frank goes to Ocha's mansion to deliver the car to him. Ocha dotes on his daughter and cannot refuse her anything. Lupe (Marlene Marquez) is Ocha's wife. Cass and Shannon insisted that they follow him in the pickup, so they could come back together as a family. Ocha wants Frank to come for him as a hit-man and is willing to pay top dollar for his services, but Frank politely declines the offer. Nels dislikes Frank, and tries to provoke a confrontation with him. Lazarus is more reasonable and tells Nels to back off if he does not want to be killed. Cass doesn't know about Frank's past and his history in the army. Nikki is killed a few days later in an accident when a guy runs her over, while she was driving her bicycle in the front yard of her home. Ocha summons Frank via Lazarus and does not give him an option to refuse the ask. Cass had seen Lazarus and his 2 goons on her front lawn and knew that something was up, that Frank was not telling her. The meeting with Ocha was that very night at 10 PM. Cass tells Frank not to go, but he knows that the safety of his family is at stake and decides to meet Ocha. Ocha is certain that this was not an accident. it was a hit job and a murder. Ocha wants Frank to kill this guy, but Frank refuses. Frank wants Ocha to task Lazarus to do the job, but Ocha says that Lazarus is good at leveling a city, but this requires surgical finesse. Ocha pressure Frank to take the job by threatening to reveal his ugly past to Cass & Shannon. Frank takes the job (under the condition that this is last job and after this all debts are settled). Lazarus provides the identity of the target to Frank. Lazarus informs Frank that the guy named Anderson has already admitted to the accident and is due to be picked up by the police by that evening. Frank sets himself up for the kill (he gets his old sniper rifle out for the job), but can't shoot the target as he is with his family. The nightmares of killing the Iraqi target and his family still haunts Frank. Frank leaves just as the police arrives to take Anderson into their custody. Ocha had kept an observer on Frank and comes to know that Frank did not carry out his mission. Ocha dispatches Lazarus to kill Frank. Lazarus & Nels kill the man who killed Nikki, by intercepting the police car after the guy had surrendered to the police. Frank is hiding and he calls Cass to try and warn her, but Cass misses his calls twice (once she was with Shannon and the next time she was taking a bath). Lazarus attacks Cass (Cass is shot on left back side of her torso by Lazarus when she fights back) & Shannon is kidnapped by Ocha. Frank reaches home to find Cass injured and saves her. Lucky the bullet went through her body and did not hit any vital organs or artery. Frank tells the truth about his past to Cass and she feels betrayed by him. Frank vows to get Shannon back to her. Frank is joined by his old buddy Tim (Tito Ortiz) is his quest to get Shannon back. With the situation being so personal, Frank brings back his hit-man skills to fight his old boss. Frank visits Ocha's house and finds it abandoned with nobody in sight. Frank finds one of Ocha's henchmen and figures that he is hiding Shannon in Mexico. Meanwhile Ocha is treating Shannon like his own daughter. He wants Shannon to accept him as her father, so he can fill Nikki's void in his life. Ocha even gives Shannon Nikki's old room to make her feel comfortable. Shannon is in depression due to being separated from her family and only wants to return home. Lupe tries to counsel Ocha to return Shannon, but he refuses and says that Shannon is only his daughter, not theirs. Frank does not know Ocha's exact location in Mexico. Frank crosses the border and starts hitting Ocha's cocaine joints and money laundering fronts to get him to come out. Lazarus increases security on all the remaining establishments in response. Frank gets the address of Ocha in Mexico (from a bartender in one of his strip joints, Frank gets the location of Nels). Frank finds Nels and extracts Ocha's address from him and attacks. He kills Lazarus and soon finds Ocha with Shannon. He kills Ocha after a brief fight. Frank and Shannon return home to Cass.
