In the fast paced world of fashion, there were people who retained the belief that without the past there is no future. They are often called the "noble masters of fashion". In reality they are the Guardians. The remnants of the old guard kept the heritage of Italian fashion alive & have managed to bring up a new generation of Guardians, continuing the thread of communication between the past, present & future. This Program will tell the story about famous and unknown enthusiasts of haute couture. They dedicate their lives and sometimes risk their own personal well being in the name of fashion. There are some who have not allowed the fast paced nature of fashion to completely destroy the heritage of the past. Collections consisting of antique, vintage & classical style fashion are their specialty. Others follow trends that will help us to find confidence, and our own personal identity. In this film we will delve into their world, a world of famous celebrities and their fashion designers. They will take us on a journey and show us how they see the world through their lens. With a behind the scenes look from their perspective they will show us that there are no two identical people, and that every person has his own unique outer & inner style. The individuality of each designer gives us a look into their identity, profession, aesthetic and motives. Thanks to these Guardians all of us can can have our very own sense of style.
