Horror House
Teenagers gathered in an old mansion are being murdered one by one. The survivors must discover who among them is the killer before he finishes off everybody. A group of 1960s teenagers bored with the party they're at drive out to a deserted old mansion, but their laughter turns to fear when one of them is killed in a frenzied knife attack. Another of them persuades the rest that they should solve the murder themselves rather than go to the police, not surprisingly opening the way to further carnage. —J-26 A group of young adult casual friends in London have convened for a house party. Included in the group are: Sylvia who has just broken up with Bob, her older married boyfriend, although Bob is still pursuing her and she lets him into her life when it suits her needs; Gary, Sylvia's ex-boyfriend with who she would like to get back together; and Dorothy, Gary's current girlfriend. As the party starts to wane, Richard suggests that they move the gathering to an abandoned and purportedly haunted house where he used to play when he was a child, two carloads of them who take him up on the offer. As they partake in activities there associated with a haunted house, one of them ends up being murdered, slashed to death. Chris, the alpha male of the group, takes charge in the aftermath, he advising that they not involve the police but dispose of the body under the circumstances: in the belief that the murderer is one of them, and that they should work out who among them is the perpetrator. —Huggo
