Hotel ParaÃso
A coming-of-age story about family, first love and restoring self-esteem. When Guillermo (Kareem Pizarro), a pre-adolescent introvert, arrives with his numerous family at the extravagant and colourful Hotel ParaÃso (Paradise Hotel) for summer vacations, he will not only have days full of colourful entertainers (Marco Zunino) and competitive activities he doesn't want to participate in, but he will also run into Andrea (Fabiana Valcárcel), a beautiful and curious girl from his school with whom he regularly fantasizes. Unfortunately for him, Nahel (Brando Gallesi), the popular and heartthrob boy who often bullies him, is also staying in the hotel and seeks to make Andrea fall in love with him. Guillermo will have to device and execute a plan to win the weekend's real big prize: Andrea's heart. In the process, he will not only have to overcome his insecurities and win the hotel's competitions, but also do it against his bully, Nahel. However, he will find the help of family members (Francisca Aronsson and MatÃas Raygada) and unexpected allies along the way. The hotel's staff (Pietro Sibille, Jely Reátegui and Andrés Salas) is filled with underdogs who want to see one of them succeed. Led by Gisela (Carolina Cano), the hotel's lifeguard who wouldn't move a finger for a "drowning" guest unless he's actually drowning, sees a kindred spirit in Guillermo and steers his confidence towards his goal. Guillermo and those who join him will battle for love and learn that it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's the journey and those who surround you that counts.
