Key of Life
Attractive, witty, and with her heart in the right place, Olive Green is pretty much a perfect girl. There is just one tiny little catch she is also a professional burglar specialising in art theft, and provided that her clients can pay, she is not particularly picky about whom she works for. And Olive is not even her real name. Although she is generally very passionate about her job, at some point in the past she fell with the wrong crowd heartless, ruthless, sadistic people and had to abandon ship. She fled America in pursuit of a new commission by a mysterious British client. Her job is to steal an impressionist masterpiece a painting called Thistle Flowers from the private collection of a wealthy businessman in his country manor in southern England. At first the heist appears to be a fairly simple task, but as it turns out, the job is going to include much more than Olive bargained for. As she attempts to complete her mission, she finds herself dealing with high-profile criminals, betrayal, violent fights, and even, unexpectedly, love. And it certainly does not help that her sweetheart's line of works means that he would probably never accept hers. However, it is only after the robbery that Olive really finds herself in dire straits. Chased by the mafia henchmen who are keen to get with no holds barred, she will have to do everything within her power to protect her loved ones and herself before she runs out of time. Will her brilliant intelligence and bad-ass fighting skills be enough to fix this mess and get her out of it alive?
