Amongst the Xingu Indians, in the heart of Brazil, in the very place where the quests take form, he will begin to understand the destiny of his "Kuarup". A passionate fresco on a Brazil large as life. 1954: Jesuit priest Nando is frustrated with church authority and teachings on celibacy. Priest Don Anselmo transfers him to a missionary settlement in the Xingu tribal lands. On the way, Nando stops in Rio de Janeiro, speaking with authorities responsible for Xingu National Park, only to learn that their true motives are money and political power. He arrives at the mission during the Kuarup ceremony, celebrating the creation of man. Returning to his post in Recife, he discovers that Don Anselmo was murdered by his own friend.
