Unberknownst to many, his story ideas come from Lola Barbara,(GINA PARENO) a folk healer. In exchange for her stories, Joey promised to give Lola Barbara a break as an actress in one of his films. As Joey attains more success as a filmmaker, his promise to Lola Barbara has slipped his mind. This leaves Lola Barbara to come up with her next plot: plotting her revenge for a promise unfulfilled.
