Mana Oori Ramayanam
Dubbed in : Telugu ( Original )
On the eve of Ram Navami, with Ramayana in the backdrop, Ravana in the mind and Ram in the heart, this dramedy is a journey of excitement, embarrassment, freedom, self-belief and of inner reflection. Bhujangaiah, a Dubai returned businessman has dreams of doing things his ways; Susheela, an escort is materialistic at core; an auto rickshaw wala has his eyes on unfulfilled Dubai diaries, and a director, Garuda is head over heels for his dream movie project; the plot thickens when their paths cross and events unfold to take them on a journey where their emotions get better of them, eventually leading them from sense of excitement to fear of humiliation to self-realization. It is a story of four souls in the guise of characters from Ramayana at a vantage point in their life. A Hari Kathe (folk form) depicting that if ever Lord Rama transforms into a Rakshasa, his greatest disciple Hanumantha would not stay a confidante, summarizes the thought and the characters of this movie.
