Mengejar Restu
Dania, a wife who is caught in a big dilemma: must she remain loyal to her husband's extended family, or fight for the happiness of her own household. Fais the son of KH. Abdullah, the owner of the Al Mubarak tahfidz Islamic boarding school, must accept his fate and continue his father's legacy: managing a free Islamic boarding school for orphans and the underprivileged. For Fais, this is not a major issue. He is well-established, financially successful, and has a strong religious foundation. However, one thing weighs heavily on Fais and his wife, Dania. The Islamic boarding school's will requires that its leader be a male descendant of the family. Dania, however, is unable to have children after having her uterus removed during the birth of their first child, Arumi. Several attempts have been made to manage the Islamic boarding school outside the family line, but the results have always been different; the intentions and direction of management no longer align with the founder's original spirit. Ultimately, the legacy can only be passed on to the family's own children and grandchildren, in order to maintain the purity of the intention. Now, Dania is at a crossroads, having to choose between her personal happiness or devotion to the sacred mandate for the orphaned students.
