Debashish "Debu" Chatterjee (Rahul Bose) is a 32-year-old advertising agent but has a serious problem in that he is still a virgin. Debu is a BA from St. Xavier's college in Calcutta. Debu is a film executive at Alliance Advertising firm in Bombay. Mahesh Godbole (Amar Talwar) is Debu's boss and is angry with his work on an ad film for condoms, as the client was unhappy with the output which cost him Rs 50 Lakhs. Debu has a week to produce a new film that works for his client. Monica (Sunila Karambelkar) is the office crush, who is generally considered as a sex symbol by every sexually frustrated guy in the office. Debu is desperate to lose his virginity and is obsessed with the subject of sex. Debu is a metro-sexual with a sharp dressing sense and due to this he is sometimes mistaken to be gay. Debu talks to his landlord Pinto (Noshirwan Jehangir), trying to understand when he lost his virginity. Pinto replies that he lost it at the age of 13 years. Debu is mortified when Pinto tells him it's obvious that Debu is a virgin. He leaves when Pinto tries to set him up with the house maid. Debu receives a marketing flier for Baba Hindustani when he was travelling by cab. Debu was trying to call for an appointment when he is called for a meeting with Mahesh. The office boy throws the pamphlet away in trash and Debu later goes through the garbage pile to retrieve the pamphlet. Debu meets Baba Hindustani (Vijay Raaz) in a hotel who promises to cure him of the teasing he gets from being a virgin. Pyarelal (Asrani) is Baba's PA. Baba charges Rs 5000 for each consultation and provide a 100% guarantee that Debu's issues will be resolved. Baba is a bundle of cliches. Pyarelal says that every celebrity in Stardust has taken help from Baba. Baba gives Debu a bottle of medicines and asks him to take one pill a day and says his issue will be solved in a week. He later meets Nitin Kapoor (Saurabh Shukla), a film-maker at a seedy hotel from where he runs his production company. Baba operates out of the same hotel from the first floor, and Nitin works out of the ground floor. Nitin warns Debu that Baba is a fraud and to be careful from him. Debu has tea with Nitin and finds that Nitin is ambitious. Nitin has been in the movies business for 25 years but none of his movies have ever celebrated a silver jubilee at the theaters. He has produced 12.5 movies in his career, some made money, and some didn't. His last movie went over people's heads and they could not understand it. He talks about launching his next film with Hritik Roshan and so on. Nitin says that he and Hritik's father used to struggle together, and Nitin was the one who suggested Rakesh Roshan to take up direction. Nitin is confident that Rakesh will not refuse him. Nitin says that in the movie business it takes just one Friday to change one's life. Debu starts taking the pills, though Pinto sees him and thinks he is on drugs. Pinto agrees to let the matter go after he forces Debu to share the pills with him. The next day at work, Monica talks to Debu and dumps all her grunt work on him. Debu thinks that the pills are working as Monica was nice and flirty towards him. Monica even gives Debu a peck on his cheek. Rakesh (Kabir Sadanand) is an office pervert who encourages Debu to approach Monica in a romantic way. But when Debu does this, Monica yells out in public and says that Debu has molested her. Debu is slapped in the face by Monica. Debu goes back to Baba and says that in a week his problem has not been solved. Baba sends Pyarelal with Debu and he takes him to a prostitute (Pinky Chinoy), so Debu can lose his virginity. Debu reluctantly agrees as he wants to see this through to its logical end. Pyarelal says that the prostitute is on the house, and he conducts the negotiations with the madam of the establishment. Debu is escorted inside to the prostitute's room. Tragedy strikes as police raids the establishment and Debu is caught. The Inspector (Prithvi Zutshi) turns out to be Bengali and is livid at Debu for having no shame. He wants to call Debu's parents, but Nitin arrives on time and bails Debu out. Nitin is in trouble as the distributors won't take his film unless he puts some pornographic scene in it. Nitin is in a fix. Nitin approaches the Baba, who advises him to use Debu to film his pornographic scenes. Baba invites Debu and says he needs to do physical exercises to solve his virginity issue. Unknown to him, Nitin films Debu as he works out. Unaware of what is happening, Nitin edits the film in such a way to give the impression of Debu as having sex. The film is released and becomes a box office hit, and Debu quickly becomes a sex symbol. Pinto throws him out of the apartment, and he loses his job. He meets Sonali Verma (Perizaad Zorabian), a journalist. Sonali wants an interview with Debu and offers him a place to stay when she finds that he is out of a job and a place to live. Sonali helps him through his difficulties, and they later fall in love. She admits she is a virgin too & they lose their virginity to each other. Sonali tells Debu that his story is not believable and to clear his name he needs to find Baba and Nitin, who have also vanished as Police is searching them for the making and distribution of porno material in the city. Eventually the trio come to Debu themselves and apologize for treating him badly. Baba reminds Debu that he found Sonali in his life due to whatever he went through with them. Debu forgives them and moves on with his life.
