Based on true events and historic figures. This periodical movie follows the passion of a 15th Century Musician, Park Yeon. Park Yeon has received an order from the Great King Sejong to create an original musical temperament. It is indeed a daunting task even a genius like Park Yeon finds challenging- he struggles to find the right keys, and to make matters worse, faces political oppositions from his enemies. Meanwhile, a beautiful Gayageum (Korean String Instrument) player, Baek Ah, confesses her feelings for Park Yeon and offers to stay by his side to help him complete his task. But other suitors taken by her beauty soon chase after Baek Ah and even threatens Park Yeon over jealousy.
