A husband struggles throughout the film to prove to his jealous wife that he has always been faithful to her. Mrs. Lia Berti, suspecting that her husband is cheating on her, tests his fidelity by sending him an anonymous note asking him on a date. Nino, however, thinking it is a trap or a joke, sends a friend, Edoardo, in his place. Arriving at the blind appointment, Edoardo his surprised to see Lia, a woman he has a soft spot for... Lia, who expected to surprise her husband, is therefore deeply surprised and embarrassed. A succession of misunderstandings had to the initial one. In the end, the jealous wife can say to her husband, "I am not jealous". —Artemis-9
