Raja's mother leaves him and refuses to recognize him when she re-marries. He goes on to become Rajkumar, 'a khatal owner'. When he grows up he goes to his mother's husband, S. K. Roy to set matters right since he has his father's will. His step brother, Rudra and sister conspire against him but soon they get together to ultimately finish off Vishal (Kaushik Banerjee) a partner in crime of Rudra. But does he forgive his mother and accept her, forms the crux of the story.
