Two old friends, a filmmaker and a musician, reunite and discuss their opposite views on art and life while looking back at their choices. The story of the mental and emotional crisis of a burned-out film director, reduced to doing video commercials and an occasional short. Adam, the director, has never been exactly lovable: his wife left him, and while experiencing a middle-age crisis he does not have much to look forward to. He has a musician friend playing the bass. The two men confront their views on life, death and the meaning of existence.
