A philosophy-obsessed serial rapist stalks a university campus in broad daylight. Edgar arrives at the prestigious University of Coimbra to go back to his law studies. During a typical rasganço ceremony, where students rip each others' university robes, Edgar meets Ana Rita, a middle-class student, and seduces her, but she's not his only lover.
