Mary, singer in a modest Soho club, is in trouble when a luxurious Mayfair one with the same name is to be visited by her father's recording company, and he expects to find her there. She and her partner Billy will try not to deceive him. Mary, against her father's wishes, works as a singer in the modest Moon club at Soho with pianist and partner Billy, and the two are in love. He composes a good song but agencies aren't interested. Then the recording company in which Mary's father works plans to visit another high-class Moon club at Soho, and the father believes it is there that Mary works, expecting to see her act. So the young couple tries to find a way to get in. At the same time their boss dubious affairs will cause an accident which will have direct consequences upon them. —BSK
