Scorched Earth

A wealthy Greek-American expatriate enlists the help of two clumsy private investigators to retrieve a precious family heirloom: a shiny diamond ring. Struggling to survive during a prolonged business slowdown, Agop, the not-so-competent owner of a small private detective agency, and his equally maladroit employee, Giannis, are with their backs to the wall. Then, out of the blue, a wealthy Greek-American expatriate sets foot in the office, eager to pay the clumsy duo 500,000 drachmas to retrieve a precious family heirloom: a shiny diamond ring.
