Sicilian Ghost Story

Is there a time, place and age when you begin to be yourself? Theo Keller is retired today. Ten years ago he left Bern to live in Ticino, a place closer to his soul, where he learned to sculpt wood and to make magnificent rocking horses. The documentary tells the story of the construction of four of these horses, which Theo wants to donate to the Museum of the horse-toy in Como, provided that they are not relegated behind a showcase, but remain usable for young and old visitors. And they will be the last of his long production: realizing them now costs him too much effort. In him the apparent roughness of an Eigenbrötler coexists with the still dreamy look, like that of a child.
