"The Price" is a film about people who refuse to settle for less than what they are. It is a story about determination and desire, about not giving up or giving in. It is a story filled with music and comedy, and with the drama of real life. It is a film about "The Price" people must pay to reach their goals. The story is about a young singer from Lithuania and a young singer from the slums of Miami who are fed up with the environments that they each are performing in. They decide to start their own club, where their talents can be appreciated. They also decide to search out other people like themselves to join them in their quest. The problem is they have only $11 between them. They acquire partners; some heroic, some shady, some bumbling, and some downright strange. —Matteo A. Cucchiara
