Japanese evil warlord Lord Godless desires to conquer China. He imprisons a large number of martial artists and tries to subjugate them. Among the prisoners is a martial arts elder statesman, Nameless and a man named Cloud. Wind comes to their rescue, but the trio is attacked by the Lord, leaving them wounded. The remaining martial artists sacrifice their lives to save the trio, in the hope that the one day they can defeat Godless and save the country.
