THE THREAD OF ALLIANCE is a collaboration between Israeli, Palestinians, Druze and Bedouins women, together they decided to embroider a tapestry designed by the Italian artist Daniela Papadia. The documentary The Thread of Alliance is the story of the creation and realization of a work by the artist Daniela Papadia, which starts from Palermo towards the Holy Land. His idea is to embroider six communities of women, living in Israel and Palestine, a large tapestry of 5.60 meters for 2.40. The tapestry she designed represents a map of the Mare Nostrum, drawn inside by a graphic reconstruction of some blood genes. Blood symbolizes life, it is a link not only of a relational but also a biological nature. We are all similar and different, equal and unique.
