Three old men live in the abandoned village, despite the fact that all other villagers moved to the city. These men have no place to go: they have neither a family that would shelter them, nor a possibility to arrange themselves a life in the city. Necessarily, they became the last residents of the village, which is dying out little by little. The electricity was cut off a long time ago, the roads are overgrown and no one visits the old men. Their life passes by smoothly and calmly, they do not know anything about the world outside the village. Sometimes pranking each other, having a cup of tea together in the evening, smoking by the stove and staring out, they spend their days. However, everything changes, when the old men find the body of a frozen young guy in the river. While they argue, what to do with the gain, the guy thaws out and miraculously recovers. The stranger begins to help the elders and gains their trust. He teaches them to bake bread, finds tobacco for them and tells amazing stories. Having spent some time in the village, the guy decides to go away. He disappears without explaining his strange visit. The old men silently see him off. It is hard for them to separate, they became quite attached to the guy. Then the third old man goes after the guy. The two people left in the village stop arguing and move to one house, because they understand that now it's better to stick together. Now they do not have anyone but each other. Both of them will have to face fear, because sometimes a bear comes to the village. Every next time he moves closer to their house. One day the two men decide to get rid of the annoying guest and their permanent anxiety. They prepare for the dangerous journey to the forest, where they will face all their problems, grief, fears, hate and despair, accumulated all their long life.
